Luxury Sports Car Photos | The second generation Camaro
The second generation Camaro lasted a full ten years, when the third generation stepped in. The third generation Camaro took the look of a sports car, with a very sleek design and stylish body structure. It was also the first ever Camaro to offer modern fuel injection methods, resulting in a faster pick up and higher speeds. The third generation Chevrolet Camaro also featured Turbo-Hydramatic 700R4 four-speed automatic transmissions, five speed manual transmissions, 16†inch wheels, a standard 4 cylinder engine and versatile hatchback bodies.
The car received huge acclaim and rave reviews from many people as it completely revitalized the Chevrolet Camaro series. Then, in 1993, people witnessed the introduction of the fourth generation Chevrolet Camaro, which was developed on an updated F body platform. The characteristics of the car remained the same as its original model back in 1967, but the design was heavily revamped. A new engine with higher power capabilities 3.8 liter LT1 V8 engine was introduced as a choice in the 1995 model of the fourth generation Chevrolet Camaro.
Extra features included all speed traction control and a new six speed T-56 manual transmission. Finally, in 2006, the production of the fifth generation Chevrolet Camaro was approved and it is presently in production. Widely famous for being used in the Transformers movie, the Chevrolet Camaro is a hugely successful car developed by General Motors.

Fesler introduces Competition Package for 2010 Camaro
Fesler well known tuning firm for muscle car has joined forces to create a series of special packages for the new 2010 Chevy Camaro. The Competition package seen here is priced at $90,000 including the cost of a the new Camaro, or $50,000 if you already own the car and just want to receive the modifications.There's all sorts of performance and cosmetic parts included in the package such as blacked out headlamps and tail lights, an adjustable coil over suspension, a carbon fiber bodykit, 22-inch alloy wheels, supercharger kit and 6-piston brake upgrades.
Furthermore, Fesler-Moss offer several options the most important being an LS7 or LS9 V8 engine swap.

Momentum Race Group to run Camaros in KONI Challenge
DALLAS, Texas - Momentum Race Group is pleased to announce it will be fielding a new two car team for the 2009 Grand-Am KONI Challenge competition. Featuring the new Riley Technologies-built Camaro, the team is putting together key personnel to prepare for the 2009 season and beyond."With times as tough as they are, I can sleep well at night knowing that we have not only chosen what I feel to be one of the premier race cars in the Grand-Am KONI Challenge GS class, but also one which is as all-American as the Camaro," said Ray Butler, President of Momentum Race Group.
Momentum Race Group will begin testing cars in September in preparation for its October debut at VIR.
"Being one of the first teams to field the new Riley Camaro, as well as with the talent we are assembling, we hope to have a strong showing starting from our first race and to be contending for the 2010 championship," said Jordon Musser, Executive Vice President of Momentum Race Group and Lead Driver.
Momentum is finalizing its driver lineup, but is expected to include Musser, Robb Holland and Jeff Altenburg.
"Jordon Musser was my first choice for Executive Vice President and Lead Driver because of his uncanny attention to detail and of course his ability to hustle a car around a race track," Butler said.
Robb Holland, a veteran of the SPEED World Challenge, will co-drive the first car with Musser.
"Robb is a great driving talent, an all around great guy and good face for the team," Musser said. "His presence will be invaluable in helping us acquire sponsors and his skills behind the wheel will keep us up front."
Momentum is excited about the opportunity of having Jeff Altenburg be the lead driver in the second car.
"Jeff has been a champion at all levels of motorsports and has great experience at setting up and developing race cars. We will be relying on that experience to help us make our Camaros competitive straight out of the box," Musser said.
Momentum is hoping to announce its finalized driver lineup within a few weeks. Momentum is also in talks with several veteran KONI Sports Car Challenge crew chiefs and strategists to make sure the team has strong leadership on race weekends.
The team will be busy in the off season with testing, solidifying driver line ups, sponsors and key personnel with in the team for the end of 2009 and into 2010. Several positions are available. Interested parties should contact Momentum Race Group.

Chevy Camaro Z28
Recently, a talented designer who goes by Jinx on Camaro forums has created some renderings of what a Camaro Z28 could look like. The car is equipped with a supercharged 6.2L LSA engine underhood with 550 horsepower. That hood would need a power bulge to cover the supercharged mill, and the rendering features a clear opening like the latest ZR1, along with a carbon fiber splitter up front. Besides that, an enlarged lower air intake would feed the intercooler and is also flanked by functional brake cooling ducts. Quad exhaust tips give those spent gases plenty of room to exit.
